Who we are

Garçon is a website builder for food businesses. We are the data controller for information collected through this service. Questions: support@garcon.solutions

What data we collect

When you build a site — business name, description, menu text, contact details and any photos you upload. This content is stored to power your published website.

When you pay — payment is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

When your visitors book a table — name, email, phone number, date and message submitted via the booking widget. This data is sent to the email/phone you configured and is not stored on our servers beyond delivery.

How we use it

Your site content is used solely to generate and host your website. Booking enquiries are forwarded to you and not used for any other purpose. We do not sell data to third parties.

Data retention

Your site data is retained for as long as your site is active. If you do not renew your hosting and your site is removed, your data is deleted within 90 days. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us.

Third-party services

We use Stripe for payments, Resend for email delivery, and Netlify for site hosting. Each has its own privacy policy.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, restrict or object to processing, and data portability. To exercise these rights contact us at support@garcon.solutions.

Cookies

This service does not use tracking or advertising cookies. A temporary session cookie is used during site creation and is deleted when you close your browser.
